Djivan Gasparyan Duduk Master wants to provide lessons for Armenian Orphans

Jivan Gasparyan complains he doesn’t have enough money to help talented children
April 6, 2011 - 17:40 AMT 12:40 GMTPanARMENIAN.Net - World-famous Armenian duduk player Jivan Gasparyan says he seeks to establish a music school for talented children, specifically, orphanage residents.

As the musician told a news conference in Yerevan, “I want to help talented children, not do business, like many others. I myself was an orphan child and lived in poverty.”

As he stated, a sum of USD 300000 is necessary to open a school; USD 100 000 was funded by Unibank for that purpose.

A territory for construction has already been provided, Gasparyan said.
